Days -1

Program (Kulen Mountain)

Arrival in Siem Reap at 11 AM from Delhi via Bangkok. Transfer to hotel.
Visit to Phnom Kulen, the ancient Mahendra Parvat with sacred Shivlings carved in the river bed. Apsara Dance with Buffet Dinner. Night stay in hotel.

    Arrival at Siem Reap

    Arrival at Siem Reap, transfer to hotel and breakfast. After breakfast, a brief orientation about today's programme by our guide and escort.

    Phnom Kulen

    Visit to Phnom Kulen, the ancient Mahendra Parvat with sacred Shivlings carved in the river bed. Also visit Kbal Spean with carvings of Lord Shri Vishnu. Return to hotel.

    Apsara Dance

    In the evening after refreshing at hotel, enjoy the ancient classical Apsara Dance show at Apsara Theatre in Siem Reap with Buffet Dinner.

Days -2

Program (Banteay Srei and other temples dedicated to Lord Shiv)

Visit to ancient Angkor temples: Rolous group, Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong, all dedicated to Lord Shiv at the ancient Angkor Capital known as Hariharalay; Phnom Bakheng, Baksei Chamkrong, at ancient Yashodharpur; Prasat Kravan dedicated to Lord Shiv & Lord Vishnu; Pre Rup dedicated to Lord Shiv and Banteay Srei (Shri Tribhuvan Maheshwar) at ancient Ishwarpur.
Visit to Angkor National Museum and Night Market. Night stay at hotel.

    Breakfast

    Breakfast at Hotel and orientation for visiting temples. In this session, the guest will be given a brief presentation about Rolous group of temples , Bateay Srei and Pre-Rup.

    Lolei (Hariharalaya)

    Dedicated to Lord Shiv, Lolei was bulit in AD 893 by King Yashovarman I, this brick temple is located in the centre of the water reservoir “Indratatak”.

    Preah Ko (Hariharalaya)

    Originally called “Shri Parmeshwar” and dedicated to Lord Shiv and Goddess Devi, it was built by King Indravarman I in A.D. 889 in the capital “Harihar?laya”.

    Bakong (Hariharalaya)

    Dedicated to Lord Shiv called “Shri Indereshwar”, it was bulit by King IndravrmanI in AD 881. It is the first major temple using extensively sandstone.

    Bakheng (Yashodharpur)

    Originally named Yashodhar Parvat, the temple Yashodhareswar” (Lord Shiv) by King Yashovarman I in the 9th century

    Baksei Chamkrong (Yashodharpur)

    Dedicated to Lord Shiv, this brick temple was bulit by King Harshavarman I in AD 947 and has the most important inscription of Khmer history.

    Pre Rup

    Dedicated to “ Shri Rajendrabadhreshwar” (Lord Shiv), it was built by King Rajendravarman II in AD 961. Mainly made of laterite and bricks.

    Lunch

    Before visiting Banteay Srei, the guests will have packed vegetarian lunch at a restaurant near Banteay Srei Temple with soft drinks.

    Banteay Srei (Ishwarpur) Interpretation Centre

    Dedicated to “Shri Tribhuvan Maheshwar” (Lord Shiv), it was built by the spiritual teacher of King Jayavarman V in AD 967.

    Banteay Srei (Temple)

    Dedicated to “Shr? Tri bhuvan Maheshwar” (Lord Shiv), it was built by the spiritual teacher of King Jayavarman V in AD 967.

    Banteay Srei (Iconography)

    The Banteay Srei temple is known for its beautiful pink stone carvings and Hindu Scriptural episodes from Ramayan, Mahabharat, and many other.

    Angkor National Museum

    Angkor National Museum is an archaeological museum dedicated to ancient Khmer civilisation with collections mainly dated 9th to 14th-century.

    Night Market

    Siem Reap has a night market in the town selling Angkor souvenirs, artefacts, painting and many other tourists products. Visit night market and dinner at Indian restaurant.

Days -3

Program (Angkor Wat - dedicated to Lord Shri Vishnu)

Sunrise at Angkor Wat - the largest Hindu temple in the world. Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Angkor Thom; Angkor Smile Programme and Night Market. Night stay at hotel.

    Sunrise at Angkor Wat

    We leave hotel at 4.00 AM in the morning to see sunrise at Angkor Wat. Please take your camera along to enjoy the scene. After sunrise, we come back to the hotel.

    Angkor Wat - First Level

    After breakfast, we come back to Angkor Wat at 9.00 AM and spend 4 hours to go through the largest Hindu temple in the world. The temple is divided in three levels.

    Angkor Wat- Entrance to First Level

    After crossing the first level libraries and ponds, and walking on the causeway, we reach the entrance with a Gopuram. From here wqe also enter the Bas-relief Galleries.

    Angkor Wat - Bas Relief Galleries

    There are Bas-Relief galleries all around at the second level depicting, Mahabharat, Heaven and Hells, Samudra Manthan, Devasur Sangram, Lord Vishnu's victory over demons and Ramayan.

    Angkor Wat - Second Level

    After going through the bas relief galleries, one can see the second-level library and climb to third level.

    Angkor Wat - Shikhar (Tower)

    At the top level, on all four sides of the Central Sanctuary, the episodes from Hindu Scriptures are sculpted like Shri Krishn lifting Goverdhan.

    Lunch

    After experiencing the art, architecture and spirituality of Angkor Wat, we take packed lunch at a restaurant near to Angkor Wat.

    Ta Prohm

    After lunch we proceed to Ta Prom temple with trees grown all over. This temple is being restored by the Archaeological Survey of India.

    Bakheng - Sunset at Angkor Wat

    From Ta prohm, we reach Bakheng temple which is built over a hill. From there, we enjoy the spectacular scene of sunset at Angkor Wat.

    Angkor Smile Theatre Show

    After seeing the Sun set at Angkor Wat from Bakheng, we go to Angkor Smile Theatre, have dinner there and enjoy their cultural show and finally back to hotel.

Days -4

Program (Bayon and Departure)

Visit to Bayon and Angkor Thom in the morning.
Evening flight at 4.35 PM to Delhi via Bangkok. Arrival in Delhi at 9.35 AM next day.

    Angkor Thom - South Gate

    Angkor Thom is the ancient city built by King Jayavarman VII in the late half of the 12th century. It has entrance gates on all the four sides.

    Bayon

    In the centre of Angkor Thom is situated Bayon with around 56 towers differs faces on four sides. Every face differs from the other.

    Bayon - Bas Relief Galleries

    Bayon also has Bas Relief Galleries around the central area depicting episodes from Hindu scriptures and scenes from daily life of people.

  • 4

    Hotel - Check out

    After seeing Bayon, we come back to the hotel, have lunch and check out before 12.00 PM. Please check your belongings before checking out.

    Siem Reap Airport - Departure

    After checking out, we go to Siem Reap Airport for departure to Delhi via Bangkok. In case the flight is later than 4 PM, spare time can be spent in the Central market for shopping.
